Spiritual inspiration If you’ve been searching for a new beginning or trying to express your spirituality, now is the time to be inspired to put your plans into action. The sun is in Pisces until March 20, which is the most spiritual, imaginative and sensitive sign of the zodiac. So seize the chance to fulfill your dreams. Strengthening this positive aspect, Venus the planet of love conjuncts Uranus the planet of spiritual awakening on March 3. In addition, Jupiter, the planet of soul triumphing over matter, is already in Pisces, meaning that the planets are pointing to the powerful energy of 3.3.3. And this month you can experience that energy in triplicate. How the power of 333 can work for you During March, there are particular dates when the portal carrying the 3.3.3 energies will be further opened and even more available for you to connect with and manifest into your life. Choose these days to begin your new projects, or set them aside for spiritual reflection as you could receive enlightening insights.
March 3 (3rd day, 3rd month plus year) 2+0+1+0 = 3 Total 9 March 12 (1+2 + 3 (March) + 2010) Total 9 March 21 (2+1+3 (March) + 2010) Total 9 This year’s equinox is at 17.03 on March 20, so this is truly a new beginning As you can see, each 3.3.3 date totals nine. This number is about completion and is especially significant as we are nearing the completion of the current 26,000-year cycle in preparation for 2012.
Angelic Message Back in January, Archangel Azuriel passed on the news of this being a 3 year. Click here refresh yourself on his message.
Love, Peace & Generosity Meditation from the angels by clicking here Join us on a spiritual adventure to Bhutan and Nepal I’m delighted to tell you that the trip is definitely happening as we have a good number of bookings. But be quick if you want to join us as places are filling fast.
One of the highlights will be our visit the annual festival at the Wangdue Monastery, which is a centuries-old tradition incorporating spiritual dance at important religious sites. Dances are re-enactments of the visions of saints, and dharma lessons to remind people of the frailty of life and the need for proper living in order to attain a higher realm of existence in future lives. We’ll enjoy the colourful shops, games and food stalls set up by the locals to create a country fair atmosphere with an exotic twist. Festivals in Bhutan are not held for tourists, so we will be privileged guests at a sacred celebration. We have purchased a few extra places on the Paro flight, so if you have not booked yet then you may still have an opportunity. Contact Justina directly so we can confirm availability on the flight. Winter is almost on its last wings, and flowers everywhere herald the arrival of spring in the Northern Hemisphere as we welcome the Ides of March -- a month of opposites and contradictions. There's no logical sense in expecting a mix of Water and Fire energy to be straightforward. Both the watery, emotional Pisces Sun and Mercury will have you flowing with the tides and drifting with the currents through the middle of the month, with a rather stormy patch around March 15, when Uranus blows up with a few surprises.
Pisces is great for creative projects, sympathy or even spirituality. But, practical it usually is not! You'll need to trust that your intuition will land you in the right place at the right time -- and with Pisces, it usually does. Follow your dream with conviction and you won't go far wrong.
Uranus can feel initially disruptive, but that's only because it wants to set you free of limitations and restrictions. If you feel your boat rocking too much mid month, ask yourself how you've been over compromising. There's a rebel inside you wanting to come out and be heard. Take a risk and see if a different approach brings in better results.
The Fire energy starts early as Venus steps boldly into impulsive and dynamic Aries on March 7 to reside there for the rest of the month. Venus moves across the zodiac, blowing kisses to Mars in even more flamboyant Leo. This is passionate enthusiasm at its most vigorous! You'll embrace life and its pleasures, while also being upfront about desires.
We herald spring and the astrological New Year when the Sun moves into the first degree of the zodiac in Aries on March 20, joining Mercury there. Aries possesses all the vigor of spring, with new growth shooting out in all directions; it's energetic, outspoken and competitive! This is just as well, since it will have a few hurdles to overcome when it encounters Saturn in opposition (180 degrees) in Libra on March 22, and Pluto in square (90 degrees) in Capricorn on March 26. Grit your teeth, call on your self-discipline and persevere for a few days -- you'll emerge stronger as a result!
Happily, Mars in Leo will be back in play with a dollop of courage as it trines (120 degrees) the Sun on March 21. Fortune favors the brave at this time! A disciplined Mars sextile Saturn on March 23 will ensure that practical solutions are found.
After March 26, you'll be on your way with fiery flair and vigor as the Aries Sun has fewer distractions. The thing to remember about March's Water-Fire mix is that fire makes water boil, so expect a few emotional outbursts along the way. But equally, water puts fire out, so you can also expect moments when your confidence becomes drowned in too many feelings. But get the balance right and it'll be a time of great creativity, with wonderful moments of close connection. March will definitely not be a boring month!
March 1: Mercury enters Pisces ?Daydreaming is so underrated! If we didn’t all take a little time to turn down the noise and inspire ourselves, we’d never think up new directions and paths. So, listen to beautiful music, take a walk in the park, record your musings in a journal or just sit and gaze at nothing. You’ll be amazed at how refreshed you feel afterward! ?? March 3: Venus conjunct Uranus? Are your relationships a little too dull lately? As the planet of love joins unpredictable and exciting Uranus, one thing is for sure: You won’t be bored this week! This is a wonderful aspect to sparkle up all your important relationships. Keep an open mind with everyone you meet – it’s time to move out of your old ruts and ways of relating. If not now, when? ?? March 7: Venus enters Aries ?Looking for a soul mate? As the planet of love enters this on-the-go fire sign, it’s time for you to get off the couch, turn off your computer and actually go out and do something! Do you like competitive sports? Racquetball, tennis or even getting into the batting cage are all fabulous ways to meet someone now. Already in a relationship? Since Aries is the god of war in mythology, use this transit to spark your passion: fan those flames, pick an activity and get out of the house together! ?? March 9: Venus opposite Saturn? When two planets are conjunct, right next to each other, sometimes we're too close to a situation to see what's going on. Opposition aspects offer a chance to stand back and get a good look at something. Venus in bold, impulsive Aries receives Saturn's advice: Take your time! Do you need to put on the brakes, and more clearly define your goals and boundaries? How appreciated do you feel? Facing limitations -- your own and those of others -- helps you make beneficial choices. March 10: Mars turns direct? Are you ready to take the next step? Mars has been retrograde in Leo since December 20 of last year, and by now you're probably more than ready to get your projects and plans off the ground. And this action-oriented planet is raring to go! Think of a small child who hasn't been able to go out and play for two-and-a-half months and ... well, you get the idea. Once the door opens, all that energy wants release. However, keep in mind that although you achieve forward momentum now, nothing moves quickly this month. So, don't put the cart before the horse! ?? March 11: Venus square Pluto? A couple days ago, your received a relationship reality check when Saturn opposed Venus. Now intense Pluto challenges you to let go of what (or who) you can't control. Something needs to be released. Is it a person -- or an old idea -- that may no longer serve you? It's time to transform your relationship values to better reflect the person you are today.?? March 14: Sun conjunct Mercury? Last January, Mercury, while retrograde, formed a conjunction with the Sun. At that time, you received information you were unable to put to good use; still, hopefully you used that time to do research. These two come together again, this time in inspiring Pisces, and finally you have a chance to further your dreams and goals. You can now reap the benefits of all the conversations and ideas you've had over the last couple of months. This marks a time of new beginnings, new plans and new ideas. ? March 15: New Moon in Pisces? Ordinarily, a new Moon in Pisces invites you to dream, to withdraw from the hectic pace of day-to-day life, to contemplate. A spiritual getaway, a meditation retreat or even simply sitting in your bedroom with a do-not-disturb sign on the door as you read a novel -- these are all great slow-down activities. But this particular new Moon sits right next to a Mercury/Uranus conjunction, which means your mental state is anything but quiet! You'll have plenty of brilliant ideas, and since the new Moon is always an apt time to start something, write those ideas down and see what you can put into motion.?? March 17: Mercury enters Aries? Mercury's entrance into the first sign of the zodiac brings a new conversation -- or a new approach to an old one. What a great time to brainstorm! Your mind is so active and fired up that you'll let nothing get in your way. Just keep in mind that Aries was the god of war, and with a communication sign occupying such a feisty sign, try not to argue. Instead, take that ball of energy and direct it toward achieving your goals. March 20: Sun enters Aries? As the Sun enters the first sign of the zodiac, we mark the Spring Equinox for those of us above the equator, and the Fall Equinox for those below. Wherever you're located on the planet, this is a great time to embark upon a new journey. Mars, Aries's ruling planet, recently ended its long retrograde, which means you now have more than a few irons in the fire. It's time to do something with them!??
Celestial forecast from Joanna Bristow Watkins at www.harmonyhealing.co.uk
Monday 1st March is Matronalia, according to Roman tradition, which was the topsy-turvy feast sacred to Juno, where the Mistress of the house waited on her servants for the day and presents were given to other people’s partners! Monday 1st March is also St David’s Day. St. David, Dewi Sant, is the patron saint of the Welsh, and 1st March, his feast day, is celebrated as a patriotic and cultural festival by in Wales. Wednesday 3rd March is the primary 3:3:3 in numerology. Friday 5th March is the Ploiaphesia Egyptian Festival of Navigation. This was when one of the most important festivals of the Egyptian Goddess Isis was celebrated, the Ploiaphesia or Navigium Isidis (Ship of Isis). The festival marked the opening of the safe sailing season after the stormy weather of winter had passed. A statue of Isis was carried in procession from her temple down to the harbour, where a specially-built ship was moored. The ship would then be loaded with offerings and dedicated to the Goddess, before being launched and carried out to sea by the wind. The festival is described by Apuleius in his Metamorphoses (also known as the Golden Ass). To participate you can enjoy the energy of water and celebrate with processions, lights, mirrors, music and flowers. Thursday 11th March is Fasli Zoroastrian Muktad, which in Sanskrit, means liberated soul. This is Festival takes place in the final 10 days of the Zoroastrian Year. During these 10 days, the spirit of departed souls come down on earth and ceremonies are performed with offerings of beautiful flowers and fruit for deceased family members & friends, prayers are recited. The last five days are known as the Gathas, which are the holiest times of the year. Friday 12th March is a secondary 3:3:3 Monday 15th March in Roman tradition was the celebration of Anna Perenna. Offerings were made to the Spirit of the Year, so that the circle could be completed. Monday 15th March is the Equinox Dark Moon @ 21.01. The New Moon Abundance ritual should be carried out within 24 hours after the New Moon.
Wednesday 17th March was the Roman Festival of Liberalia, this was the feast to celebrate the male coming of age! Wednesday 17th March is also St Patrick’s Day in Ireland. St Patrick is credited with converting the Irish back to Christianity, which had been abandoned under Roman rule. Friday 19th March is the Roman Festival of Quinquatrus. This was a Festival in honour of Minerva; it seems that women were accustomed to consult fortune-tellers and diviners upon this day. http://wapedia.mobi/en/Domitian Saturday 20th March is the Pagan Equinox at 17.32. On the Equinox, light and dark are equal over the whole world: mark the moment of the Equinox with silence and stillness. Saturday 20th March is also the Egyptian Festival of Pelusia, with the Egyptian Goddess Isis working her spring magic to ensure the flooding of the Nile later in the year, thereby guaranteeing a fruitful harvest. Sunday 21st March is another secondary 3:3:3 In the UK, the clocks go forward on the night of Saturday 27th March, in fact at 01.00 on Sunday 28th March, and that is the start of British Summer Time.
Tuesday 30th March is Pagan Equinox Full Moon @ 03.26 (Monday night) and this is a further secondary 3:3:3 numerologically (see 3rd March entry). Between Full Moon and the next New Moon is considered as a good time energetically for detoxing the body. Click here for Angela McGerr's Full Moon Meditation with Gabriel Thursday 1st April is April Fool’s day. In France, prior to the year 1582, the New Year was celebrated for eight days, starting with the 25th of March, with the festivities culminating on April 1st. With the reform of the Christian calendar under King Charles IX, through the influence of Pope Gregory, the Gregorian calendar was introduced, and New Years Day was moved to the first of January. However, due to lack of communications in those days, many people did not receive the news for several years. Furthermore, some obstinate individuals refused to accept the new calendar and continued to celebrate the New Year on April 1st. These people were classified as “fools” by the general public and were often subject to some ridicule and were invited to bogus parties; hence, the tradition of April Fool’s Day.
Thursday 1st April, in addition to being April Fool’s Day, is also the Roman celebration of Veneralia and Fortuna Virilis. Both celebrations seem loosely connected with Venus who is honoured on this day and whose advice is sought on matters of love. Friday 2nd April is the Christian Festival of Good Friday, which is a Bank Holiday in the UK.
